A little about myself….

• I am a life-long resident of St Marys, although my father grew up in Stratford and my grandparents lived there until I was in my teens, so I consider it to be my second home
• I married my husband Greg in 1987
• We have two beautiful girls who are now grown and busy with their own lives
• After obtaining a diploma in Recreation at Fanshawe College in 1984, I spent time volunteering at Spruce Lodge in Stratford before obtaining a position at Wildwood Nursing Home (now Wildwood Care Centre) that same year
• In early 1989 I became the Director of the Friendship Centre for St Marys Area Seniors, happily working there for 12 years
• Volunteering has always been a key focal point in my life. I am Past President of the Huron Perth Association of Realtors® (2013) and President Elect (Vice President) in 2012; Director, Huron Perth Association of Realtors® 2009-2010; current Provincial Political Action Committee
• Representative for the Huron Perth Association of Realtors®; Elder at St. Marys Presbyterian Church; Regional Representative with Skate Canada – Western Ontario Section; former parent volunteer at South Perth Centennial School, Past President of the St Marys Skating Club; former member of the Presbyterian Church Board of Managers; former Sunday School teacher and Youth Group leader; past member of the St. Marys Long Term Care Committee, the St. Marys Save the Hospital Task Force, and Regional Representative on the Provincial Board of the Older Adult Centres Association of Ontario
• I obtained my Real Estate registration as a sales representative in 2000, working first with Re/Max a-b Realty Ltd., brokerage and then Sutton Group – first choice realty ltd., brokerage
• In December 2018 I opened Peak® Select Realty Inc., brokerage with my business partner Cathie Szmon
